My 3 Day Shakeology Cleanse was a HUGE success! I dropped 5.8 pounds in 3 DAYS!!! It was so awesome, I feel lighter, less bloated, and like my body has been CLEARED of all the ucky bad stuff! I would HIGHLY recommend this cleanse to anyone who is trying to drop a couple pounds, feel less bloated, get back on track after a "low week" of bad choices, or just to clean out their system!
Day 1 was pretty tough, I was very hungry and I think the thought of me not eating outweighed my actual hunger, but I persevered through the whole day! ;)
Day 2 was MUCH easier, I didn't feel hungry hardly at all, and actually lost my most weight after this day!
Day 3 was simple, however I was pretty happy knowing that the next day I was getting to drink milk again! HA!
A few things I took from this cleanse are:
1) You do not always need to eat. PERIOD. I tell myself i'm hungry when I am, when i'm not, when i'm bored, when i'm tired, etc. ALWAYS- that is OVER. No more, I am in control of WHAT and WHEN I eat.
2) I learned a simple, quick, on the go Shakeology recipe that I would have NEVER imagined I would like, 8 oz water, 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology! SHAKE it up, voila!
3) We put so much CRUD into our bodies sometimes, that they just need a little "cleaning" out, this cleanse did that without starving myself, without *excuse me* pooping constantly, yes I did pee like a crazy woman, but I think that was what I needed! I did this in a HEALTHY way!
4) I need to drink more water, A LOT more water. Like we're talking I was drink 2-4 liters of water a day during this cleanse, that should be ALWAYS! I'm working on that!

Shakeology Cleanse Day 1
It is about 2 pm and half way through Day 1 of my Shakeology 3-Day Cleanse! So far I am feeling satisfied as far as hunger goes, although I think my mind is trying to tell me I'm not just because of the no solid food thing!
One part of the cleanse that made me nervous, and is still making me nervous is the green tea. I am NOT, I repeat, NOT a tea drinker. Chai tea on occasion, but green tea...no way! I made my cup this morning and choked it down, and still have yet to do my second cup but I will do it because I am determined to do this cleanse CORRECTLY!
I am lucky to have Nathan around, because I decided to try and switch up my recipes these next 3 days to try some new stuff out! Since milk is not part of the cleanse, I was a little nervous because I'm so used to using milk instead of water! I did the new Superfood Formula Chocolate Shakeology with water in a shaker cup this morning and was VERY surprised to find out how AWESOME it tasted! I really enjoyed my shake this morning! I came home, had an apple around 9:30 am and then my second shake at around 12:30, this time I blended 1 cup water, 1 banana, 1 cup strawberries and 1 scoop Vegan Tropical Strawberry Shakeology and I really didn't mind it either! I usually do the same recipe only with Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk...With water it was a bit more....liquidy than I would have liked, but not bad!
I cannot WAIT for supper tonight! Nathan is grilling me chicken to put on my spinach salad that I bought green peppers, cucumbers and lemon juice for :) Sounds so yummy! Only 1 shake left before supper-- how can people say they're hungry on this cleanse, OH YEAH- they don't! HAHA, that's because you're constantly consuming some type of food/drink/etc. What a kick ass cleanse, huh?
Anyways! I weighed myself this morning (even took a picture of the scale so I can show you all my REAL results) ;) Let's see what 3 days and a little will power can do for a girl!

What is Beachbody? What is a coach?
Some of you may be curious what exactly Beachbody is- or maybe you're more curious about what I specifically do as a Beachbody coach. Either way, I can answer your question in one simple statement... "Helping people!"
Helping people is the core mission of Beachbody, plain and simple. Helping people is something I have ALWAYS known that I wanted to do. It was never a question in my mind of what my purpose in life was, I knew from the get go. An 8 year old girl wanting to be a doctor not for the money, not for the title, but because I genuinely care about people.
When I got to college and realized that being a doctor just wasn't for me, I FREAKED out, because how else was I going to help people without being a doctor?! Lucky for me, I found Beachbody before I had a complete meltdown, and that was my "HALLELUJAH!" because I knew that I had found something I was truly passionate about- I am constantly getting into better shape, helping people and bettering myself in everyday! I am happier, I have more energy, I feel like I finally found my PURPOSE!
Beachbody has an amazing product line of fitness programs, Shakeology (nutrition) and ACCOUNTABILITY! That is the "bonus" that Beachbody offers that up until now I have not seen from any other companies of this kind! That is where the "coach" comes in! I serve as that accountability that everyone in a journey to health and fitness so desperately needs! That is what made me want to be apart of this business, because we are not making "quick sales" this is about genuinely caring about the success of our clients!
That is Beachbody in a nutshell, using Fitness and Nutrition as a way to help people better themselves. I learned in my Intro to Nutrition class lately that it is SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN that exercise is a better anti-depressant than anti-depressant prescription pills---HELLO!!! Ding ding ding! Get up, get moving, get HAPPIER!

A Major has been DECIDED!!!
It has taken 3 semesters of college for me to finally decide what I want to do with the rest of my life. I came to MNSU Mankato with a Biology/Pre-Med Major, because ever since I was little I KNEW that I wanted to help people and become a Doctor! The classes just didn't consume me, they didn't make me HAPPY.
I decided to switch my major to Political Science because I figured, if I wasn't a doctor, I could be a lawyer- but again! Government and Politics just aren't my PASSION!
I have FOUND my passion, my reason for waking up every day and that is FITNESS AND NUTRITION! I have finally realized what I want to do every day for the rest of my life, and STILL help people! I am officially going to be switching to an Exercise Science major with a double major in Food and Nutrition!!!
With this degree, I will still be able to continue with my Beachbody coaching and will just learn more and more information to help me along the way- my ultimate goal? Possibly open a "gym" that offers Group X Classes like Body Pump, Turbokick, PiYo, Hip Hop Hustle, etc. and I will be able to consult people on their nutrition ALSO! HELLO- how can I even call that a JOB?!?!
Find your passion, and RUN WITH IT! That is what creates success!

Turbofire Challenge Group
I just wanted to express my EXCITEMENT at this moment! On August 20th, I began the Turbofire fitness program as a part of a 30 day "PUSH YOURSELF" Challenge group I am running. Going into it, I knew how much I already LOVED Turbo- I found Turbokick this summer and realized that I had found my soulmate workout!
ANYWAYS!
My starting weight at the beginning of this challenge, I weighed in at 224 pounds. After week 1, I was down 5 pounds! 5 FREAKING POUNDS in 1 week! I cannot explain that feeling!
The next week came and I lost 2 more pounds, then 2 days later- 2 MORE POUNDS! 9 POUNDS IN 16 DAYS!!! This stuff REALLY WORKS! With the help of Turbofire + drinking Shakeology daily has completely transformed my body in a short 2 weeks, I cannot wait to see what the rest of this program can do for me, and I will make sure to keep you updated!

My favorite Shakeology recipe!
My FAVORITE Shakeology Recipe!
I have acquired a "go-to" recipe over the last few months when it comes to making my Shakeology shake!
It is QUICK, EASY and DELICIOUS!!!
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 banana
5 strawberries
1 scoop Vegan Tropical Strawberry Shakeology
3-4 ice cubes
OCCASIONALLY I throw in some Strawberry Greek yogurt--this makes the consistency more like a smoothie!
BLEND, BLEND, BLEND!!!
Who says that health shakes have to taste bad???
